Eddie Dunbar, Martyn Irvine and Bryan McCrystal were, erm, really put through their paces by top international sports photographer Billy Stickland of Inpho.
When one of the best sports photographers in the country, Billy Stickland of Inpho, got the call to do a photo shoot marking the launch of the An Post Rás 2016 he decided to mix it up a little bit.
And, as these photos show, neither he nor the three Irish riders he had at his disposal were holding back when it came to giving the great race a memorable launch.
National U23 road race champion Eddie Dunbar, former track world champion Martyn Irvine and top domestic rider Bryan McCrystal allowed Stickland to have a bit of craic with them.
One or two of these photos might (definitely will – Ed) see the three lads get a bit of stick from their rivals, but they were great sports to enter into the spirit of the occasion.
