A driver with Dublin Bus has been charged with careless driving causing the death of a cyclist in south Dublin 1½ years ago.
Mary White (55) died two days after sustaining injuries when hit by a bus on Burlington Road, south Dublin, at 9.40pm on November 17th, 2014.
She was taken to hospital from the crash scene but died in St Vincent’s Hospital two days later.
Dublin Bus driver Osborn Best Irabor (51) has appeared in court charged with careless driving causing the deceased’s death.

The accused man was arrested by arrangement earlier this month and on Thursday appeared briefly before Dublin District Court.
Judge McCarthy was told at the hearing that the accused man, a father of three, had made no reply when the charge was put to him.
An eight-week adjournment of the case was agreed to allow more time for the book of evidence to be prepared for trial.
Judge McCarthy ordered Mr Irabor to appear before the court again on June 23rd as there were no objections to bail.
The DPP has ordered he face trial on indictment, with the trial set to take place at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
