Domestic season extended with late date Halloween criterium in Thurles

Halloween criterium in Thurles

Anyone looking for one last gasp competitive road outing in 2012 will want to be in Thurles, Co Tipperary, on the last weekend of the month for a new criterium event that has just been added to the domestic calendar.

The Thurles Halloween Criterium takes place on Sunday, October 28th, as part of the ‘Thurles Halloween Festival’.

It’s being run on a technical and tight 1.45km course on closed roads and will be 50 minutes + 5 laps; not too testing for those who have not raced for a number of weeks.

It’s an afternoon event, with the 2.30pm start time making it a possibility for those travelling from most parts of the country.
