Sam Bennett will be interviewed as part of an event organised by his team's bike suppliers FUJI. The broadcast will be available here on stickybottle.com
Having moved from An Post-Chainreaction to ProContinental team NetApp-Endura during the winter after a string of top results in 2013 including a stage victory at the Tour of Britain, Sam Bennett's stock has risen considerably.
He's already been to the podium a number of times in his first months with his new squad, immediately making an impact at the Tour of Oman and Tour of Qatar.
He took 3rd on a stage in Oman against some of the fastest men in the world and wore the young rider classification leader's jersey in Qatar.
He's maintained his form very nicely in the intervening months and started both the Tour of Flanders and Paris Roubaix classics.
Just two weeks ago he stormed to victory in the Rund Um Koln in Germany, besting the rest of the field in the bunch sprint that settled the contest.
And at the beginning of March he opened his account by sprinting in to win the Clásica de Almeria at the head of a large breakaway that formed on the climbs and included some very big names who couldn't shake him off.
The Spanish squad’s climbing aces Nairo Quintana and Alejandro Valverde went to the front on the ascents to try and get rid of the danger man from Carrick but failed to do so.
And at the finish line it was Movistar's Juan José Lobato who had to settle for 2nd place behind the flying Irishman, with Movistar placing three men in the top six but lacking the speed to stop Bennett.
Tomorrow's online interview with the 23-year-old takes place at 5pm Irish time. And if you log on to stickybottle at that time you can view it here. It should be good so please do join us.
Bennett will speak about his transition to the higher level of racing and the training he has done and which has carried him so seamless to his recent form.
He’ll also talk about his plans for the remainder of a year, possibly riding the Tour de France and generally about life as a young pro making his way in the bike game.

Bennett takes NetApp Endura’s first victory of the season and the first win of his fledgling pro career at the Clasica de Almeria on March 2nd.

On the crest of a wave: Bennett celebrating his second win of 2014 at the Rund Um Koln in Germany just two weeks ago.
