The Quick-Step Floors team, formerly Etixx-QuickStep, revealed its kit for next season and the verdict for Dan Martin is very much a thumbs up.
On Monday we brought you pictures of the kit Nicolas Roche will be wearing next year with his new BMC Racing Team and today it’s the turn of Dan Martin and Quick-Step Floors to reveal their clobber.
With Etixx gone as title sponsors it will take some getting used to.
In keeping with last year, the dominant colour is most certainly blue, with white also quite prominent, replacing the black from 2016.
The blue is a markedly lighter tone than the one used this year and we reckon it’s up there with the best kits we’ve seen for next year, so far.
Zdenek Stybar gives us a full frontal view and as you can see, it's quite different to the darker blue and black kit worn in 2016.
The jersey will see the main sponsor - Quick-Step Floors - dominate both the front and back of the jersey, as well as on the side panels.
Lidl will continue to feature on the sleeves, together with smaller sponsors, Janom and crivit PRO.
On the back, Peugeot, Specialized and Latexco - which keeps its place on the collar and on the upper chest - are also represented.
Martin is currently building his fitness on a training camp with the team ahead of what he hopes will be another stellar season.
This year he finished in the top 10 at the Tour de France for the first time in his career and will once again target the race as one of his main goals for the forthcoming season.
Niki Terpstra seemed to like the design and why wouldn't he, with the Dutch flags prominent on the collar and sleeves.
Boonen looks in mint condition.
