Dan Martin pens new deal with Garmin-Sharp; extends for two years

Dan Martin has agreed terms with his Garmin-Sharp team that will see the Irish rider staying with the US headquartered outfit for at least another two years.

The new deal was confirmed by the team today, Tuesday, on social media.

Martin was represented in the negotiations by the Dutch-based Sports Entertainment Group which has represented him since the start of this season.

Martin is now in his fifth season with the team, having signed for them in 2008 when they were known as Garmin-Chipotle-H30. The team is managed by Jonathan Vaughter’s and owned by Slipstream Sports. It has espoused a strong anti doping stance.
