This incident involving a cyclist and a taxi driver began with a "knuckle tap" on the side of the vehicle but escalated pretty quickly into a dispute between the two men.

The cyclist approaches the taxi from behind and taps the side of the vehicle, apparently in protest at the fact it is encroaching into the cycle lane and to encourage the driver to stay right.
However, when the driver responds but sounding the horn of the taxi, the cyclist - who publishes his cycling videos under the @rightobikeit handle on Twitter - stops in the traffic a verbal exchange takes place and gets heated.
After the two men move off and carry on through the streets, they come together again at traffic lights a little further up the road, where more words are exchanged.
