A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with a truck driver in Dublin city centre on Friday morning.
The incident occurred in wet conditions at about 9am at Guild Street and North Wall Quay,
The crash site was at a busy stretch close Samuel Beckett Bridge over the River Liffey at the International Financial Services Centre.

At the crash scene the bike was visible on the ground at the side of the truck. The area was inspected by guards and the road was opened again to traffic.
We will bring you an update when we have it.
Sad and scary to see a cycling accident this morning on the exact route of #LiffeyCycle. Looks like driver turned onto cyclist going straight on. Cyclist seems ok thankfully. @dublincycling pic.twitter.com/9rb8OLZrws
