After a long dark winter, when the sun finally comes out in spring there's only one thing for it; get the bike, the parrot and the bulldog out and go for a ride around.
That was certainly this man's idea when he was spotted in west Dublin riding around with his unusual training companions.
He was recorded by the bemused occupant of a following car, with the dog on a lead running alongside and the parrot perched calmly on his shoulder.
Before his tragic death we saw clips of pro cyclist Michele Scarponi riding along his home roads in Italy with a bright bird for company.
And we've even seen a man towing his golf bag behind his bike in Dublin traffic; featured in one of our stories from a few years ago.
But a cyclist with a parrot and dog in tow at the same time is a new one on us. The clip was posted last Friday and it appears to have been recorded in the west Dublin suburb of Ballyfermot.
