
Dan Martin took the award for the International Performance of the Year at the Cycling Ireland annual awards last night. There were also lots of domestic riders and volunteers honoured with awards.

Dan Martin: International Performance of the Year for his ride at the Tour de France
Lara Gillespie: Special Recognition Award. The teenager won silver in the European Youth Olympic Festival this year.
Dan Curtin: Club Coach of the Year
Errigal Youth Tour: Competitive Event of the Year
Robin Seymour: Special Recognition Award. He retained his World Masters Champions MTB title this year.
Eve McCrystal: Best Domestic Based Female Rider. She won the National Road Series despite being mainly focused on international paracycling as a sighted pilot for paracyclist Katie George Dunleavy.
JB Murphy and Xeno Young: Best Domestic Best Male Rider
B Murphy and Xeno Young have received a Special Recognition Award: They took track medals at the European and world championships. Murphy won a bronze medal in the points race at the Worlds and elimination race silver at the European Championships. Young claimed silver in the individual pursuit at the Worlds and Europeans.

Larry O’Connor from O’Leary Stone Kanturk Cycling Club: Munster Volunteer of the Year
Ger Campbell from Drogheda Wheelers: Leinster Volunteer of the Year
Orla Harkin from Errigal Cycling Club: Ulster Volunteer of the Year

Mark Downey: Outstanding Achievement Award after his World Cup track campaign and his ride at the World Road Championships.
Ryan Mullen: Outstanding Achievement Award after a season in which he won the Irish road and TT titles.
Eddie Dunbar: Outstanding Achievement Award. He won the U23 Tour of Flanders this year; the best ever result by an Irish rider in an international U23 road race.
Greg Callaghan: Outstanding Achievement Award. He has won the Emerald Enduro for the past two years.
Lydia Boylan and Lydia Gurley: Outstanding Achievement Award. They won silver in the madison at the European Track Championships.
Killian Callaghan: Outstanding Achievement Award. He was crown U21 Enduro World Series champion this year.
Katie George Dunleavy and Eve McCrystal were presented with an Outstanding Achievement Award. They won the TT and road world title in their tandem category at the Paracycling World Road Championships.
Greg Swinand: Special Recognition Award. He broke the elite and masters Irish hour record in recent weeks. He also won the TT title at the Masters World Road Championships in his aged category.
Alice Sherratt: Lifetime Achievement Award. Alice is race director of the Junior Tour of Ireland and has organised races all over the country.
