Having ended his pro racing career just one week ago, Conor Dunne has joined Global Cycling Network as a presenter.
The channel, which is broadcast on YouTube, is very popular all over the world and has grown into a respected outlet for cycling news and advice.
He joins an on-air line-up of presenters that includes fellow ex-pros Dan Lloyd, Chris Opie and Simon Richardson.
That GCN has taken no time in snapping up Dunne is perhaps no surprise give his popularity with cycling fans and on social media.
The fact he takes his place at the channel so soon after his pro racing career has ended is a huge asset to GCN as Dunne will bring the most up to date insights into the sport in the present day.
His contacts with riders, managers and other personnel in pro teams will also bring a lot of value.
Now aged 27 years, Dunne rode for An Post-Chainreaction, JLT-Condor, Aqua Blue Sport and Israel Cycling Academy during his career.
He competed in the Vuelta in 2017 with Aqua Blue Sport and the Giro with Israel Cycling Academy last year as well as many other major European stage races and one day events.
His best result came while riding for Aqua Blue Sport in 2018 when he became Irish road race champion.
