The Ag2r rider will be in Dublin next Tuesday to promote his book ‘Inside the Peloton’, which was written with journalist Gerard Cromwell.
Roche was to have been in Dublin last week for a promotional tour to coincide with the book’s publication.
However, his team is in a relegation battle to remain in cycling’s WorldTour top flight and his manager insisted he go to China to chase UCI world ranking points.
He duly obliged by winning the queen stage just ahead of Ireland’s Philip Deignan.
Roche rides the Tour of Lombardy tomorrow, Saturday, which ends his season. He then comes to Dublin to promote the book, a couple of weeks later than anticipate.
Roche and Cromwell’s publishers Transworld Ireland have supplied stickybottle with Roche’s list of engagements.
The brief promotional visit next Tuesday, October 18th, consists mainly of broadcast media interviews. There will however be public appearances in a number of Dublin book shops.

7.45am: Live interview with Aidan Cooney for IrelandAM Breakfast, TV 3.
