The deadline for clubs to apply for events next year is rapidly approaching and those who haven't yet submitted details of their proposed event risk not getting their preferred date.

Clubs and teams intending to organise events next year – competitive and leisure – have been advised by Cycling Ireland to get their applications in by next Saturday’s closing date.
Provincial bodies have already began the process of approving the dates of events for next year’s calendar.
And any entries that fall outside the October 31st deadline run the risk of not getting their preferred date.
The rise in cycling events has been huge in recent years, with sportives and races across all disciplines filling up many weekends on the calendar.
Cycling Ireland encourages promoting clubs to complete the application process online.
The federation has rolled over all of this year’s events to the same day and corresponding date in 2016; that means an event held on Sunday, 21st June, 2015, has been rolled over to Sunday 19th June 2016.
It will appear in the online portal listing in “Draft” state. All you need to do is click “Edit”, change the date if desired and any other details you deem necessary and “Submit.”
That process applies for both competitive and leisure events, though only selected sportives have been added, such is the huge volume of them.
All other applications will need to be created from scratch.
