The owner of the new indoor BMX track in Dublin’s Cherry Orchard, Liam Collins has announced details of the facility’s first competitive racing series.

Running on five consecutive Friday nights from this Friday, January 27th, the new league will cater for all age groups from U7s to Masters.

Collins has decided to run separate events for girls and women as part of the new series. He is keen that riders appreciate the importance of pre-entering in order that the racing can be properly planned and run as quickly as possible. He wants to prevent riders from having to hang around between their motos.

“The pre-entry really is important because if we have a situation where we don’t know how many riders are going to race, it will be impossible in terms of organising the league properly,” he told stickybottle.
