That's a back full of road rash; the photo taken of Sam Bennett in hospital which he shared on Facebook after his sprint finish crash in Scheldeprijs.
Sam Bennett has received mixed news after being taken to hospital in Belgium to be checked for injuries caused by his crash at Scheldeprijs.
The Irishman did not sustain any broken bones in the huge spill. However, as the photo above reveals, he has suffered severe road rash.
And he has also been diagnosed with whiplash after falling on his head, neck and back at speed inside the final kilometre of racing.
He has been kept in hospital overnight for observation, but his team insists the move is simply a precaution.
Bora-Argon 18 directeur, Enrico Poitschke, said he was relieved both Bennett and team mate Shane Archbold, who crashed in the early stages of today's semi classic, were not seriously injured.
“Both guys haven’t broken anything, which is good news after that hard crash," he said.
"Shane is with the team now and he is OK so far. As it looks right now he’ll be able to line-up in Paris-Roubaix on Sunday.

"Sam will stay a night in the hospital for further observation. He is OK, but in pain. He fell on his head and he has a whiplash.
"Even though we are confident that he’ll be released shortly, we didn’t want to risk anything. That’s why we decided that Sam spends the night in the hospital.”
