Three of the foreign teams coming to Ireland to ride Rás Mumhan have named their line-ups, with some current and former British and Lithuanian champions in the mix. Above, current British U23 road race champion Ed Laverack is on the JLT Condor team for the race.
Three of the teams from abroad set to ride Kerry Group Rás Mumhan over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend have named their line-ups for the race.
JLT Condor, a Continental ranked outfit from the UK, has named its new Irish rider David McCarthy and also British U23 road champion Ed Laverack, who is from Wales.
The two 20-year-olds are part of what is an U23 team selected for the race by manager John Hererty.
Joining them is Dante Carpenter (20) who was third in the under 23 national championships last year and held the mountains Jersey in the Coppa A Espansa.
Joe Moses (21) won the Junior Tour of the Isle of Man has also been named in the team as has Luke Grivel Mellor (22) who has won the Stafford GP and was runner up in the national junior road race series.

Andrejus Dolgovas has been Lithuanian national MTB champion and won the duathlon title in 2013. He could be a surprise package at Rás Mumhan.
“It will be a great chance for these young riders to ride for themselves as opposed to having to support the more senior guys on the team,” said Herety.
“We have a couple of good climbers and a sprinter as well, so we will be expecting to be in the mix most days, but we realize that the competition will be strong.”
Felt Colbourne Hargroves Racing Team, also from the UK, travel to Ireland for their fourth outing in Rás Mumhan.
John Heaton-Armstrong, who is coming to the race for the seventh time, will manage the team.
John Venesse, a talented rider who crashed very badly during the Rás coming off the Conor Pass when he was younger, is among those riding.
The team brings four newcomers with them: Pete Wagner, Tom Leach, Henry Sheldon and Charles Podschies.

“We continue to expose these riders to the best racing in the UK, Continental Europe and Ireland,” said Heaton-Armstrong.
“Competing in a race like this is big as it is difficult to find an event like it in the UK.”
Top Team-Lithuania is coming back to the race after its debut last year.
Elijus Civilus, who will be the team’s leader, last year he won the Lithuanian elite road series cup. Arunas Gliaudelis is a former pro and member of the national road squad.
Deividas Vileniskis was national road masters champion in 2012 and last year he competed in the Tour of Estonia, a UCI 2.1 event.
Andrejus Dolgovas was national elite MTB champion in 2012 as well as national duathlon champion in 2013.
Ryan Sherlock, the Irish man who was 2nd over in Kerry in 2012, will guest with the team despite his main focus being on mountain biking this year.
