Former national masters road race champion Declan Hanrahan and his family have had 11 bikes stolen in a robbery at their home.
The bikes were taken between Friday night and Saturday morning, with a combination of road, off-road and children's bikes among the haul.
We've included photos of some of the bikes, while other photos are of similar bikes to those stolen.
If anyone sees any of the bikes being offered for sale, they could contact gardai in Clonmel, where the robbery took place.
All of the family’s
bikes were stolen from their home in Clonmel at some time between 3.30pm on
Friday and 11am yesterday.
The haul of stolen bikes includes:
BMC Gran Condo, Canyon Ultimate CF Six, three Ridley aluminum bikes, Canyon
Torque DH, YT Industries Enduro, Viper XX, Canyon Strive Enduro, one good
quality steel bike and a Canyon Dual Suspension X-Country.
This is obviously a big blow for the family and given the
number of bikes stolen it would appear efforts will be made to sell them somewhere.
If you believe any of the bikes is being offered to you or being offered for sale online, please contact the Garda.
Declan Hanrahan is a well-known member of the cycling community, winning the Masters 50 Irish road race title back in 2015 riding for Carrick Wheelers.
