Sam Bennett has some big battles coming up before he hangs up his racing wheels for the season.
Sam Bennett will get the final week of his season underway in German on Saturday when he competes in the Münsterland Giro; a UCI 1.HC-ranked event in the Münsterland region.
The Bora-Argon 18 fastman showed some really good form last weekend at the World Road Championships in Richmond.
He was just 40 seconds down on winner Peter Sagan, riding for Slovakia, after 260km and more than six hours in the saddle.
If he has recovered from that outing and his body has digested the time difference from the return journey to Europe he should be in with a strong chance of taking a result in Saturday’s 180km contest.

Kittel has endured a horrible year and will be looking to take something from the campaign in his native Germany on Saturday.
If he were to win he would need to get past German powerhouse André Greipel, the Lotto-Soudal man who took four stages on this year’s Tour de France.
Marcel Kittel, who announced last week he is leaving Giant Alpecin to replace Mark Cavendish at Etixx -QuickStep, is also in action.
He will hope to add victory to double his win tally for his illness-hit 2015.
The 27-year-old was regarded as the fastest man in the world last year but having been sidelined for most of this year he has just one victory to his name; stage 1 at the Tour of Poland at the beginning of August.
With Saturday’s race expected to finish in a bunch sprint, Bennett will very likely find himself battling with the two Germans.
Following tomorrow’s race, Bennett will ride Paris Bourges next Thursday and Paris Tours on Sunday week, October 10th.
