Australian riders' group spin crash after hit by close-pass driver | Video

This driver clipped one of the cyclists, who crashed first followed by the others in the group. The driver kept going and New South Wales are reviewing the video

A group of cyclists in Australia suffered a crash at the weekend when one of them was hit by a driver overtaking too closely, resulting in other members of the group crashing.

Some of the riders were left to scurry into the cycle lane by the side of the road when they fell out into the vehicle lane.

Luckily none of them were struck by passing vehicles and no serious injuries were sustained, even by the rider who was clipped at speed by the passing driver in the car.

When the crash occurred the driver of the vehicle failed to stop, though other motorists who were passing at the time pulled in to offer assistance.
