Archie Ryan has joined his teams from the Jumbo Visma Development Team for a glitzy team launch in Amsterdam alongside the outfit's WorldTour team.
Ryan, who has just turned 18, will ride for the Continental team in 2020 having signed with the squad back in August.
He is one of 13 riders, many of whom are from the Netherlands, to have signed for the squad for 2020.
The launch of the 2020 WorldTour team was held at the Hema headquarters in Amsterdam and was used as an opportunity to also launch the new Continental team Archie Ryan is now part of.
It meant Ryan, who is stepping up to Continental level in his first year out of the juniors, appeared alongside stars such as Tom Dumoulin, Primoz Roglic, Dylan Groenewegen and Wout van Aert.

It's an exciting time for Ryan who has proven himself one of the very best young talents in Ireland at present; a select group his twin brother Will is also very much part of.
Eurosport's Orla Chennaoui was MC for the evening which consisted of formally introducing the two teams to the invited guests and panel interviews with the big stars in the team.
Asked by Orla Chennaoui what he made of such a large and
professional set-up that Dutch team had created, Ryan said he was very
impressed.
“It’s amazing, it’s so professional. All the guys are
really nice and we get along really well. It’s really good,” he said.
The Irish teenager, who is still in school back at home,
added one task he had to master yet was learning some of the languages of the
pro peloton.
“I need to improve my Dutch, I don’t really understand what the guys are saying yet so I’ll certainly start learning Dutch when I finish school in June.”
The YouTube clip below is set to start as the development team is being introduced on stage, with Ryan's brief interview part of that segment. And there are more photos of Archie Ryan at the launch below.
