Aqua Blue Sport has named arguably its strongest team available for the Ronde Van Drenthe (1.1) race in the Netherlands.

The Irish-registered team will take on mainly ProContinental and Continental rivals in the 206-kilometre event tomorrow.

The race starts and finishes in Hoogeveen in the north of the country.

Conor Dunne and Matt Brammeier are both included in the eight-man line-up. Also riding is Lasse Norman Hansen.

And joining them are Andy Fenn, Adam Blythe, Aaron Gate, Leigh Howard and Peter Koning.

Hansen almost took victory at Dwars Door West Vlaanderen last weekend.

He was eventually 3rd behind Jos Van Emden (LottoNL-Jumbo) and Silvan Dillier (BMC Racing Team).

Lotto Soudal have former winner Marcel Sieberg on the start-list tomorrow.

Aqua Blue Sport face quality field

Among the other big professional outfits travelling is Roompot-Nederlandse, with last year's winner Jesper Asselman.

Fortuneo-Vital Concept, Wanty Groupe Gobert and Gazprom-Rusvelo are also in the field.

There are five Dutch continental teams on the start-list and outfits from Denmark, the UK and Norway.

A reduced bunch sprint often decides the outcome. Last year 20 riders came to the finish together to fight for the win.

And for this very reason, Aqua Blue Sport has brought a power-packed team. They are a group of very good strong men who can engineer such an outcome.

Aaron Gate and Adam Blythe would be seen as strong contenders on such a course. And given his form right now, Hansen is also one to watch, as is Conor Dunne.
