There has been a second huge crash at the Tour de France today, coming with just 7km to go to the finish as the speed was really on.
It followed an earlier mass crash caused by a spectator who had stepped out into the road to hold a sign up in a bid to get on TV.
The second crash occurred on a wide open stretch of road as the speed had shot up with the finish line nearing on the final uncategorised climb of the day.
It looked like two riders tangled in the middle of the
pack and came down at high speed, with the domino effect then taking out a very
large number of riders.
Chris Froome (Israel Start Up Nation) was one of those who crashed in the second incident and he looked like he was badly shaken and possibly injured, though he was able to get back on his bike.
More to come.
