The An Post-Chainreaction kit for the coming season has been unveiled at the team’s training camp in Calpe, southern Spain.

The riders will not only wear Spin11 racing kit but will also be supplied by the Irish custom clothing brand with everything else to meet their needs; from technical winter garments to high performance aero speed suits.

Damien Duggan from Spin11 said of the sponsorship: “Having spent over six years working as head of international marketing at Chain Reaction Cycles I have recently moved to Spin11 custom cycle apparel.

“When the possibility came up to work with Kurt and Sean again by sponsoring the team, we jumped at the opportunity."

Spin11's Duggan continued: “We have big plans; 2017 is a huge year for us as we develop and expand our brand internationally, as well as continually building on the solid foundation we have at home in Ireland.

“Having a professional road team like An Post-ChainReaction provides us with an excellent platform to showcase our products."

Spin11 chief executive Maria Connaughton said the company had a wide range of new products in development, adding the new partnership with the team was but one part of the custom clothing company’s expansion plans.

“Having the support of Kurt and the riders gives us the opportunity to ensure our products perform at the highest level in all conditions,” she said.

“Our experience and hours of research and development combined with performance feedback on the garments from the riders will be a source of extremely useful and important data.

"Every Spin11 customer will benefit from that; from the clubs, sportives and other clients we work with.

“As we all know, professional cyclists practically live in their cycling kit, this gives invaluable information and provides the perfect backdrop for us to refine every little element around the performance of the products.”

An Post-Chainreaction manager Kurt Bogaerts said of the new partnership: "This is our second term with Spin11, having worked with the brand a few years ago.

“In more recent times I have been very familiar with the products and the quality of the clothing in my capacity, working with Cycling Ireland where Spin11 are also the official technical clothing partner.

“It’s a pleasure working with Maria and Damien who are always keen to hear what the team have to say. I look forward to a successful year ahead for everyone."
