Team manager Kurt Bogaerts said all of the riders had had a break from racing for nine days and he was looking forward to seeing them perform on Saturday.

“The few days break in between races has given us the chance to recuperate and re-energise ahead of this Saturday. One or two of the squad had been struggling for fitness but the extra few days rest has done them the world of good”.

“The race this Saturday will be undoubtedly be tough. The route is very hilly and one in which we haven’t experienced yet this season so it will be interesting to see how we fare. The team have been riding well of late so we will aim to be competitive as always and hopefully we can come away with a good result”.
