This video, filmed from inside a moving car, shows one of the occupants shoving a cyclist into a ditch as the group howls with laughter.
The video below was going viral on Facebook at the time of writing; showing a cyclist being pushed from his bike by a passenger in a passing car.
The voiceover in the short clip states: “Right boys, this is the new challenge here.”
The social media activity and accents in the clip suggest the incident took place in Ireland.
However, while the clip was posted on Saturday, it is unclear when the attack took place or where.
There is no suggestion whatsoever that the Facebook user who posted the clip was involved.
A young Irish man originally posted the clip on social media, from which point it went viral. His Facebook page, with the video on it, was available to view until Sunday night.

However, on Monday morning his page was no longer accessible, though others had cloned the video at that stage and were publishing it.
The copy below is one such cloned or copied version, but is exactly the same as the original.
Before his page was made unavailable, the young Irish man who originally posted the clip stated very clearly that he was not present when the film was record.
Indeed, in posting the footage he performed a valuable public service in outing this thuggish behaviour by others.
In the clip the back seat passenger in the car leans far out the window in anticipation of pushing the cyclist just up ahead off his bike.
As the vehicle draws level with the cyclist, who looks like an older man, the attacker leans right out of the car and with both hands shoves his victim.
The car then continues on its way as the other occupants of the vehicle shout with laughter.
The camera recording the attack from inside the vehicle then pans back down the road to film the cyclist falling very heavily into what looks like a deep ditch.

And just as the car goes past him, the shove is made and the rider is soon hurtling into the ditch.
The car has passed the rider, who is now falling at pace into the ditch; thankfully away from the car.
The other occupants of the car find the attack very amusing and roar with laughter. The camera pans back down the road to survey the rider falling hard into what looks like a deep ditch; the continued recording completing his humiliation.
The cyclist is left in a heap in the ditch; his bike flying away from him as he crashes down at speed.
