A huge group of kids went for a ride through central London and, erm, made their presence felt.
You’re well used to us bringing you pieces about groups of riders; but it’s normally on the open roads when riders have numbers pinned on in races.
This time it’s a ‘peloton’ of a very different kind.
The group of (mostly) kids in the clip below went for a recent bike ride through the centre of London and some of them caused chaos.
At this junction many of broke the lights, meaning the cars pulling onto the road from a side street couldn’t get across the junction.
Pedestrians had to watch their step such was the sheer number of riders involved, a lot of whom were doing wheelies on both the roads and footpaths as they swarmed this junction.
Judging by the white T-shirts on some of them, it seemed to be an organised event – or should we say pre-planned.
Any ‘organisation’ went out the widow once they came up against a red light and other vehicles, neither of which seemed to bother them much.
