The cycling season is cranking up a notch this weekend with one of the big Belgian races known as Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne taking place this afternoon.
Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne takes place in cycling's spiritual heartland of Belgium and to put it mildly, it's not a race for the feint-hearted.
It's a gruelling 200-kilometre test of mind and body with umpteen cobbled sections as well as many, many climbs.
It's made all the harder when there's a break up the road, a few decisive sections coming up - and a ferocious peloton want to bring the move back.
In this case, it's not unusual for teams with riders they believe can win to hit the harder sections very hard.
LOTTO-Soudal went to the front during this section of the race below and tried their best to split it up - though the rider on the front in the clip below wasn't going near those cobbles.
