An Post-Sean Kelly’s Sam Bennett has proven he is very much back in business after an illness-hit opening few months of the season, taking third in the Ronde Van Noord-Holland (1.2) today, Sunday.
His team mate and 2011 An Post Ras winner, Gediminas Bagdonas took victory today making it a great race for the team.
Grabbing a podium finish in such a big race comes at a great time for Bennett; just weeks before the An Post Ras. It also follows a tough opening period of the season for him in which he was sidelined for a prolonged period with a virus.
