Daniel Kirwan has taken overall victory on the final stage of the Gorey Three-Day today. The Lucan CRC rider was fourth overall this morning just ten seconds off the yellow jersey of Liam Blanchfield (Bray Wheelers).
However, he managed to take back that time on the final stage today and took a great GC win.
The stage was won by stage 1 winner Matt Flynn, the 16-year-old British rider. He took victory today from Daire O’Sullivan (Usher IRC), with Matt Blayney (North Down) in third to add to his second place on stage 1.
