Epic win for Conor Murphy at Ras Mumhan, Sherlock takes GC lead

Conor Muphy (Eurocyles) has taken today’s third stage of the “Kerry Group Ras Mumhan” into Waterville after a long breakaway ride by his team mate Adam Armstrong was overhauled in the closing stages.

He was pursued by an eight man group that included Sherlock, Murphy, Damien Shaw and others. Armstrong was very unlucky to be caught after a great ride but at least has the conciliation of taking the lead in the KOH competition.

The leader on GC this morning Mark Dowling (DID Dunboyne) had to contend with a puncture today.
