U16 Dunwoody wins elite Bidwell Memorial after long-range solo attack

Seth Dunwoody of Shelbourne Orchard CC added the Peter Bidwell Memorial to his list of wins after a long -range solo attack

Reigning Rás na nÓg champion Seth Dunwoody took the win this evening in the Peter Bidwell Memorial. There was a special exception made for the under-16 rider, who was well ahead of the main field for the duration of the race.

Dunwoody started the race with the A3 group and attacked by himself on the first lap. He continued to ride solo for 7.5 laps and won with an impressive gap of 55 seconds after 51km of racing.
