Tomorrow, Sunday, sees the riders return to Broadford for the Darragh McCarthy & Co Solicitors Road Race; a gruelling event of 120 kilometres on a different circuit.
There are two races on the card, with the first being the A1, A2 and A3 event starting at 1pm.
It’s a 20 kilometre circuit and 6 laps to be negotiated, with prizes for the first 10 over the line as well as separate prizes for the first unplaced A2, A3 and junior.
The latter will also receive the Richard Brown Perpetual Cup.
There will be a handicap system in place with the three categories separated by one minute.
The other race down for decision is the combined A4 and women’s event.
There are three laps of the same 20 kilometre lap with prizes for the first eight as well as a separate women’s prize.
