Imogen Cotter was absolutely buzzing after her biggest career win. She's the new elite women's Irish road race champion

Having come to
cycling late, Imogen Cotter (Keukens Redant Cycling Team) has more than made up for lost time by being
crowned Irish elite road race champion in Coolbeg, Co Wicklow, today.

After an
action-packed road race, Cotter was one of the three women who pulled clear of
their rivals on the final lap, with Megan Armitage
(Rupelcleaning-Champion Lubricants) and
Linda Kelly (Barrow Wheelers) with her.

Cotter took the
victory in a three-up sprint on the line, with Armitage taking silver and Kelly
winning the bronze.
