Results Danny O'Shea 10 Mile TT: Griffin and Caldwell power in to win

Jack Caldwell (Strata 3-VeloRevolution) and Mia Griffin (Illi Bikes) were victorious at the Danny O'Shea 10 Mile TT in Co Wicklow today.

Caldwell beat Greg Swinand (Dan Morrissey-MIG-Pactimo) in the men's race by the narrowest of margins; riding the test just one second faster.

The winner clocked a time of 20:40 and Swinand did a 20:41 with 3rd placed rider Kieran Regan (St Tiernans) riding the course in 20:46.

Mia Griffin, a track international who has also been racing in Europe on the roads, won the women’s race in 23:18.

She was 20 seconds faster than Maura Claffey (UCD Cycling Club), with Jennifer Bates (Unattached) taking another podium placing this year, with 23:46.
