Darren Rafferty has won the junior men's road race at the National Road Championships in Coolbeg, Rathnew, Co Wicklow, today over 96.4km.
The Team 31 Jollycycles U19 rider went solo from a six-man breakaway a long way out and took the title by 1:53 from Dean Harvey of VC Glendale.

Harvey's team mate Jamie Meehan came through for the bronze medal just 12 seconds down, completing a very strong top three on the day.
