Just two days after scorching his way to victory with a 17-minute time at the latest round of the Ernie Magwood Series, Ian Inglis (Powerhouse Sport) has hit the target at the Danny O'Shea 10 Mile TT in Co Wicklow.

His time in the Sorrento CC-promoted 10 mile TT race today - at 19:23 - was not as fast as his 17:58 over the same distance of Thursday night.

But it still put him on top of the results on a windy day for racing and on a much slower course than the Frosses route of Thursday.

Inglis today got the better of Johannes Rom Dahl Roadman Cycling Club, with 11 seconds the margin between winner and runner-up.

New Irish junior TT champion, Jack Lawless (Gorey CC), was 3rd at 50 seconds.

After breaking her Irish masters record over the 10 mile distance at the Ernie Magwood on Thursday night, Hazel Smyth (Powerhouse Sport) won the women's race today in 23:46.
