Cian Keogh (APS Pro Cycling by Team Cadence Cyclery) has won the Ballivor Grand Prix, one of two road races held in different parts of the country on Saturday evening.

Keogh was part of a very strong six-man moved in the three-lap race, totalling 53km, in Ballivor, Co Meath. And once clear, he struck out on his one with a long way to go.

With just over one lap, of 17.8km, remaining in the C1-C2-C3 race, Keogh got away and spent most of the next 20km out front solo in the Navan Road Club promotion.

Behind him, his team mate and Rás Tailteann 2026 winner, Conn McDunphy, managed to get away from the rest of the breakaway men.

They included: Javan Nulty (Unattached), Chris Marshall (Velo Performance U23 Development Team), Joseph Mullen Moynalty CC) and David Harrington (Lucan CRC).

McDunphy bridged across to Keogh, catching him with about 2km remaining. The team mates then went to the line together, with Keogh winning from McDunphy.

Nulty was best of the rest, followed by Mullen, Harrington and Ronan Killeen (Lucan CRC).

In the Athenry Grand Prix across the country, promoted by Galway Bay CC on Saturday night, the action also ended in a team 1-2.
