A total of €72 million has been allocated to new - and some existing - greenways across the country for 2024. The money has been allocated by Transport Infrastructure Ireland.
Below is a full list of every project awarded money, with a list for each county and the greenways being funded there. Kerry County Council tops the list, with €10.45 million awarded for eight separate developments.
Some counties, via their local authorities, are not awarded any funding in this round while others receive much smaller sums, at times for just one section of greenway. However, there are also many counties where multiple projects are funded.
