The road rage incident captured in the clip below really is too jaw-dropping for words.
However, it raises the question as to whether it's a good idea to follow drivers who have just been obnoxious or nearly knocked you off; especially when you already have their reg number to report them.
Given how quickly this incident became physical and how clearly wound up and aggressive the driver became, it was perhaps fortunate for both parties that the motorist fell over.

The red mist had clearly taken hold by that stage and this could have gotten much nastier. The clip shows the vehicle passing the cyclist very closely; a move the rider took grave exception to.
He called the reg number out aloud, presumably for the benefit of his rolling camera. However, he then followed the vehicle. And when he caught up, an intense verbal exchange ensued. The motorist made verbal threats and got out of his car, not once but twice.
On the first occasion he made a concerted effort to grab the rider's camera and the second pursuit (thankfully for both) ended in the driver tripping on the pavement.
