The Dublin round of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup was massive success on Sunday, with over 8,000 spectators descending on the Sport Ireland Campus in Blanchardstown to watch the main events unfold. While the professional riders dominated, as expected, there was plenty of Irish interest in the races, and our photographers - who document the sport at home year-round - were on the sidelines getting their images.
Sean Rowe, Toby Watson and Michael Buckley got some fantastic images and we've assembled many of their shots of the Irish riders: Maria Larkin (Team Ireland) and Róisín Lally (Team Ireland), Michelle Geoghegan (Isorex), Darcey Harkness (VC Glendale), Stephanie & Annie Roche, both Scott Bright Motor Group, Caoimhe May (Orwell Wheelers), Niamh Stephens (Team Giant Dublin), Dean Harvey (Team Ireland), Chris McGlinchey (Team Ireland) and Darnell Moore (Team Ireland), Sean Nolan (EvoPro Racing), Richard Barry (St Finbarr’s CC), Dillon Corkery (Verge Pi-Cycles), Darragh McCarter (Spellman Dublin Port), Jamie Meehan (Spellman Dublin Port) and Frank McDermott (Oldcastle CC).
