Team Sunweb has unveiled its full roster for next year, with Irish rider Nicolas Roche among a number of strong new signings.

Roche has been with BMC Racing for the last two years. However, that team has folded and some of the set-up has joined forces with the CCC Sprandi Polkowice outfit.

The new entity will take on the CCC name and compete at WorldTour level. However, Roche’s move to Team Sunweb was confirmed some time ago.

His signing for the team sees him enter his 16th season as a pro rider, the first in 2004 involving a short stint as a stagiaire with Cofidis.

And one of Roche’s main roles will be to try and help the team to a Grand Tour victory with Tom Dumoulin.

Roche’s new team will be led next year by both 2017 Giro winner Dumoulin and in other races by Australian Michael Matthews.

Joining the set-up with Roche is Robert Power, the Australian from an Irish background who rode with Mitchelton-Scott this year.
