Having won the opening stage of the C3 Carn Wheelers Two Day in Maghera, Co Derry, earlier today - just his second ever victory on the road - Robbie Tosh (Ballymena Road Club) did it again in the evening TT.
The 18-year-old not only won the 12.06km race against the clock, but put quite significant daylight between himself and his challengers for the overall title, which will be decided tomorrow.
Indeed, the only rider in the field to get close to him today in the TT was his own team mate Luke McMullan; the powerful TT man just five seconds down on Tosh, who is enjoying a breakthrough or sorts his weekend.

After McMullan in 2nd place, the gaps were much bigger. For example, Banbridge CC's Gavin Clarke was 3rd in the TT and shipped 32 seconds to Tosh.
Alastair Gribbon of host club Carn Wheelers was 4th at 39 seconds. And by the time one follows the results down to 7th placed Paul Noble, the gap to the winner was 1:20.
That result means Tosh has extended his overall lead and now has 32 seconds on Clarke, who moves up to 2nd, while Gribbon is 3rd at 39 seconds.
