Damian Donohoe (Athy Wheelers CC) has won the Ballivor GP on a night when the C3 group worked well together and managed to hold off the C1s and the C2s in the handicapped event.
Saturday evening’s raced unfolded over three laps of a 17.8km fast and flat circuit, with a very close finish served up.
The C3s just about held off the chasers, but about 30 seconds, with Donohoe taking the win from Eoin Rheinisch (Bear Group Cycling Team) and Dave Reilly (Emyvale Cycling Club).
