This action-packed eight-minute video captures the career highlights of Irish cyclist Sam Bennett.
It traces the Irish cyclist from his time with the An Post team at Continental level; an outfit he won Rás Tailteann stages with and enjoyed a breakthrough stage victory with at the 2013 Tour of Britain.
Bennett stepped up to ProContinental level with NetApp-Endura in 2014, continuing his progress up the world order with further wins in a higher level of racing.
And as that team gradually morphed into the WorldTour outfit Bora-hansgrohe Bennett stayed with it until last year; taking two stage wins at the Vuelta in 2019 and three victories at the Giro a year earlier.
Now in his first year of a two-year contract with Deceuninck-QuickStep, Bennett had won the opening stage and worn the leader's jersey at Tour Down Under as well as claiming Race Torquay, also in Australia, before racing was suspended due to Covid19.
The video below was produced by Cycle Tube and is well worth a look; tracking the 29-year-old's career as it has progressed each season.
