
Lachlan Morton may not have raced the Tour de France this year but he got more column inches than most riders in the race when he decided to ride the race route solo.
His trip, dubbed 'The Alt Tour', was a great success for him and now his team EF Education Nippo has released this new film bringing us inside the Australian rider's adventure as he tried to get to Paris before the peloton.

He rode the full Tour route, as the race was on, and did so complete self-supported, with no team car and no transfers and while wearing sandals at times.
He used a tent during the trip to sleep in and cooked his own food, all in aid of raising money for World Bicycle Relief.
