Conor Dunne and brother-in-law Nigel Kelly have been keeping busy in lock-down at home in Carrick-on-Suir; by building a velodrome in their garden.
The home track was carved out by the two lads using a digger, tractor and shovel for the berms at both ends of the track connected by the home and back straights for Dunne's back garden hour record attempt.
Nigel said they used hay bales to make the effort look a bit more "velodromey" - always important when building a velodrome.
They also used kegs of beer for a start "ramp" to add a really professional touch when finishing off the track.
It looks like Nigel was both the brains and brawn behind the construction with Conor bringing good cheer and some of the low-skilled labouring "muscle" to the project.
The result is pretty impressive it must be said and the video produced by the dynamic duo is very entertaining indeed.
The pair of them clearly work very well together on screen, so much so this may well be the start of an on-screen bromance on GCN.
The object of the exercise was for Dunne to attempt a back garden hour record and we can confirm he's the new world hour record holder for gardens.
How far did he manage on the garden velodrome? Well, have a look and see for yourself.
