Video: Terrific short film on cyclist and triathlete Con Doherty

Cyclist and triathlete Con Doherty, who won the Galway Criterium and the Westport Triathlon on the same day at the weekend, stars in this WildMayo short film.

Cyclist and triathlete Con Doherty popped up last weekend to take victory in the Galway City Criterium.

He claimed that solo win on Saturday evening having already won the Westport Triathlon earlier in the day.

The West Covey Wheelers man won the triathlon event in a time of 55:39, some 3:37 ahead of runner-up Kevin Keane; himself an excellent athlete.

It now appears that not only can Doherty switch from triathlon to cycling and win races in both in the one day; the camera likes him too.

He’s the subject of this super little MayoWild film Transitions. It is produced by Cut Media in conjunction with Mayo.ie, which promotes the county.
