Lara Gillespie has told stickybottle she is looking forward to her first extended stint at top tier European pro road racing this year, including the big spring classics.

And now the Co Wicklow rider has a new team kit to get her going in the New Year. Her UAE Team ADQ squad has opted for a new look for the coming season.

A white, brown and purple pallet of colours replaces the mainly blue and pink kit from last year, with shorts to match.

Gillespie, who took four wins on the road last year as well as her first medal at an elite UCI World Championships, also has the Irish tricolour bands on her jersey cuffs to denote her status as a former Irish road race champion.

And like Eddie Dunbar's Team Jayco AlUla, UAE Team ADQ have also opted away from traditional black shorts, with Gillespie set to wear shorts to a purple hue to match the bottom half of her jersey.
