Former Irish road race champion and Vuelta finisher, Conor Dunne, has taken on a hard recon ride of Paris-Roubaix with the AG2R Citroën World Tour team.
While Dunne was certainly no slouch in his day - riding at Pro Continental level - had hasn't raced for nearly three years. He was also taking on 15 sectors of pavé with the French team, which they were riding very hard.
His excursion was made even more challenging as he was filming for Global Cycling Network, with his ride including the infamous forest of Arenberg. He had to dig very deep in his bid to hang onto the riders, who were obviously taking a serious approach as they prepared for Paris-Roubaix tomorrow.
Dunne also has a snoop around some of the kit the team will be using for the unique French monument.
