Ineos Grenadiers didn't quite have the Opening Weekend it hoped for in Belgium, with its arch rivals, Jumbo Visma, dominating. The British team's main rider for the weekend, Tom Pidcock, took the only result of note; 5th in Saturday's Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.

In a blow to the rest of the team's spring classics campaign, Ben Turner crashed in Saturday's race. X-rays revealed a fracture to his elbow, meaning he was ruled out of Sunday's Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne (1.Pro) and will also be sidelined for some time.
The team's best result on Sunday was with young America Magnus Sheffield; placing 24th on a day - indeed a weekend - where Jumbo Visma dominated, winning both races.
